[ISS Support Case] CDP2023 and System Platform 2023 R2
Last updated: March 7th, 2025Description
Our current environment consists of System Platform 2020 Patch 01 and Communication Drivers Pack 2023. We are considering an upgrade to either System Platform 2023 or System Platform 2023 R2. For System Platform 2023 R2, the upgrade wizard and documentation suggests that an upgrade to Communication Drivers Pack 2023 R2 is required. We are currently unable to move to CDP2023 R2 due to firmware support restrictions for older ControlLogix PLCs. Can you confirm if CDP2023 is supported alongside System Platform 2023 R2, and if so, the procedure for reverting after an upgrade to System Platform 2023 R2 - such as uninstall after the upgrade
