A warning message will be displayed when opening the Farm Configuration Wizard, if MSDTC has not been configured properly.
Open Administrative Tools | Component Services | Computers | My Computer | Distributed Transaction Coordinator.
Right-click on Local DTC to select Properties.
Check the seven check boxes, select the No Authentication Required radio button, and click on the Apply button.
The services will restart with the changes. Warnings will no longer be displayed from the Farm Configuration Wizard.
