This Tech Note walks you through creating a Condition Script to play a sound file within InTouch when a new Alarm arrives.

  1. Open WindowMaker and within your scripts area right click on Condition and select New.
  2. The scripting editor will appear and double click in the Condition area.
  3. The Tagname Dictionary appears then select the $NewAlarm tag and click the OK button.
  4. Make sure the Condition Type is set to true and select the Functions - All Button then Select the PlaySound function as seen below. This will automatically populate with the Syntax requires to use this function.

  5. If you require further information on the options with this function they are detailed below.
