Unable to Import Windows Client Controls into Wonderware Application Server 2014 R2

  1. When trying to import the Windows Client Controls you get the below error message.
  2. The problem is the Tree View Control located in the Situational Awareness\Support Folder. This needs to be exported as a .aaPKG file and saved to somewhere on your computer
  3. Once backed up you need to delete the dot net as seen below.

  4. Import your dot net Windows Forms from the below location.

  5. Keep the defaults when you see this window.

  6. Once completed your dot net forms will be loaded as seen below.
  7. Import the Tree Viewer .aaPKG as seen below.
