Details
1. j5 Database - must be backed up regularly and must be replicated to the failover system. You can use 3rd party applications for the backup or use the Database client tools such as SQL Server Management Studio depending on the database you use for j5.
2. Data Files - must be backed up regularly and should be replicated to the failover system.
i. File Attachments. The location of the attachments is a configuration option in the j5 System Management Console - File System Storage

ii. C:\ProgramData\j5\data (exclude C:\ProgramData\j5\data\solr - this is an index and will be rebuilt after failover to ensure data consistency)
3. Local Settings - should not be replicated to the failover system but should be backed up to a separate location.
i. C:\ProgramData\j5\config
ii. C:\ProgramData\j5\generated_files
iii. C:\ProgramData\j5\licenses
4. Log Files - should not be replicated to the failover system but should be backed up to a separate location.
i. C:\ProgramData\j5\log
5. Temporary Files - should not be replicated to the failover system.
i. C:\ProgramData\j5\cache
ii. C:\ProgramData\j5\pid
iii. C:\ProgramData\j5\temp
iv. C:\ProgramData\j5\data\solr
6. Installed Application Files - should not be replicated to the failover system.
