Details

While Aveva recommends using Mobile Access instead of Secure Viewer, there may still be a specific need or want in regards to having the software. In this version of Aveva Edge, the Secure Viewer software can be found at this file location on the server where Edge is installed: C:\Program Files (x86)\AVEVA\AVEVA Edge 2020\Redist\WebAddOn\ThinClient

Once found you can share the installer package across the network or, if need be, manually move it via a removable media source. At this point, you can run the installer package like any other installation package, filling in all required fields. Then you'll land on the features menu. Here is a description.

You only need to install Secure Viewer in order to have the functionality. The other products can be left unselected, if desired.
