TN IT163 How to create an Acknowledge Button for an Alarm

 

This Tech Note explains the simple steps to create an acknowledge button for alarms in InTouch

1 InTouch WindowMaker click on the Drawing Tool Button option and place this on your Window.

 

 

 

2 Double Click the Button and the InTouch Animations Menu appears. Select the Touch Pushbuttons - Action Button as seen below.

 

 

 

3 The Scripting Editor appears as seen below.

 

 

 

4 Click the Functions - All Button then select the almAckSelect Function.

 

 

 

 

5 The script line will appear and you will need to replace the below attributes then click OK and OK again.

 

ObjectName = The name of your Alarm Control ActiveX

Comment = Can be any string
