TN DA110 DASMBTCP Zero Based Addressing Errors not defined option is grayed out

When trying to configure the DA Server DASMBTCP version 3.0 and above in the SMC you get Zero Based Addressing Errors stating not defined with handle 0 or the option is grayed out.

When you try to configure the DASMBTCP 3.0 DA Server in the SMC you get the below errors.

Or you see the following option is greyed out.

The cause of this is that you’ve copied in the configuration files from an older version of the DA Server in the below location and have the incorrect DASMBTCP.AArul file.

 

Browse to the C:\ProgramData\Wonderware\DAServer\DASMBTCP directory and remove the old DASMBTCP.AArul file then copy in from the installation files the later version.

As you see below the option isn’t greyed out and you won’t get the error messages previously seen.
