How to enable a Time Synchronization Service in Citect 2016

This Tech Note will enable the time Synchronization Service on  Server and Client computers

1. On your Server (Time Master) machine navigate to the Schneider Electric - Citect SCADA 2016 folder and select Time Synchronization Config.
2. The Time Synchronization Configuration utility appears and change the Startup type to Automatic.

3. Once changed to Automatic then click the Start Service Button the Current status should change to Running.

4. On your Client machine start the Time Synchronization Config as in Step 1.

5. Once the Time Synchronization Configuration utility appears then change Startup type to Automatic then Click the Time Client Configuration - Keep this computers time synchronized. Click the Add Button.

6. Enter the machine name or ip address of the Time Master Server.

7. Click the Start Service Button, and then click the Synchronize Now Button. The below Save Configuration Box appears then click the Yes Button.

8. Close the Time Synchronization Configuration utility.
