By default, the required privilege level to disable or shelve alarms is level 8.

This can be changed by modifying the Citect.ini.

1. Open the Citect Studio.
2. Click on the Projects activity.
   
    
3. Click the drop down arrow next to Setup Wizard and select Setup Editor.
   
    
4. Type in the following settings and click Add.
