This example shows how to accomplish this with scripting in an ArchestrA Graphic. This can be done with classic InTouch graphic animation link scripts using Galaxy: references.
In the ArchestrA Graphic editor, Create an Action Script animation link on any graphic element.
Specify the Alarm to Ack as seen below and the text attribute to write to is the Attribute.Alarm.AckMsg.
Note that writing a null value (no value) with double quotes will still acknowledge but no operator comment will be written.
If you specify text, it will be written to the acknowledgement record and to the Alarm Database history as seen below, replacing the Alarm Desciption field text.
