Details
A Lot attribute is used to convey or store additional information for a Lot in inventory. For example Lot attributes could be used to implement multiple hold reasons for an item's lot in inventory. To create a Lot Attribute perform the following steps in the MES Client. In the MES Client go to Master Data Config -- Attributes -- Right click on Lots and select New. In the Properties pane, complete the following settings:
Name of the attribute.
DataType
The data type for the attribute.
Entry Type
Edit information and select the applicable configuration options for the data type selected.
After this lot attribute is created, it can be used within Wonderware MES Supervisor or API calls to assign additional information to a specific item's lot number.
