Details

Users of the web client have the ability to receive periodic snapshots of Tableau content via subscriptions.

Schedules are configured by default for Monday morning (@ 6am) and Weekday mornings (@ 6am).

More schedules may be added by selecting Schedules from the menu and then click on the +New Schedule button.

 

Users need to log into the web client to subscribe to individual worksheets or workbooks.

Click on the envelop icon in the top right corner of the worksheet to subscribe.  The users will be prompted to enter an email address the first time they subscribe, if they are not already configured with an email address.  Fill in the subject and schedule, select This Sheet or all Sheets in Workbook, and then click the Subscribe button.

The subscriptions are managed by the administrator for each user from Users | Subscriptions.  Administrators may select Change Schedule, Change Subject, and Delete to modify or remove a subscription for a user.

The email address is entered and modified from Users | Settings.  Be sure to click Save Changes after making any updates.
