Pre-Requisites

You must have a Microsoft Office 365 on-line account. 

Using the InSight tool:

Start by creating a trend of the data you want to export to Excel.

Then click the Blue icon in the bottom right corner and Click Download.

Then choose excel on-line

Choose or add your Microsoft Office 365 account and login if required.

Excel On-Line will start and the Data assistant for InSight will show on the right.

Choose how you want to see the data: 

Raw values or 

Aggregated in 15 minute, 1 hour or 1 day time periods

If you chose an aggregate you then choose the calculations you want to see like AVG, MIN, MAX

Then click import

Your data will be imported with time stamped columns and the rows are the tags and calculated values if aggregated as in this example.

Note you can edit the time period fields to retrieve a different period of data.

When you have your dataset, You can download a local copy in Excel if you prefer.
