The Excel plug in is a very powerful tool for using the capability of the Historian Client directly from Excel. When Excel is present (or the add-in is manually added) when the Historian Client is installed, there is a new ribbon menu added as shown: The "Tag Analysis" button allows us to access the analog tag analysis feature.
Clicking on "Tag Analysis" will go into a 5 step wizard as shown:
Below you will see the report. Most people do not realize that you can change the values (of the range for instance), and the report will update automatically:
