Details

If after an upgrade of Microsoft Office from a pre Office 2013 version is performed with the Wonderware Historian Client Workbook is performed, it is not possible to start Excel and the following warning is presented:

Compile error in hidden module MenuAndToolbar. This error commonly occurs when code is incompatible with the version, platform, or architecture of this application. Click "Help" for information on how to correct this error.

The following process may resolve the issue:

From within Microsoft Office Excel set

Excel Options -> Trust Center -> Add-Ins -> Require Application Add-ins to be signed by Trusted Publisher" to OFF.

If setting Require Application Add-ins to be signed by Trusted Publisher" to OFF does not resolve the error, it may be necessary to uninstall and reinstall Office and Historian Client.
