Unable to switch to primary IDAS errors in the SMC logger for the AVEVA Historian when making configuration changes.



There is a known intermittent issue when IDAS gets into a deadlocked state during database reconfiguration.
When in that state all reconfiguration requests time out, including getting the configuration version call.

To correct the issue, delete all IDAS configuration files stored in All Users\ArchestrA\Historian\IDAS\Configurations on the same machine where the IDAS is installed.

The Configuration Service will restart IDAS within a minute and the issue will be resolved.
