TN WW219 Subscribing to Security Central on the Aveva software support website

Description

This article from InSource walks through the process for navigating around the Aveva Security Central and signing up to receive email notifications when new items are posted to the Aveva Security Central. This includes being notified of Microsoft security update changes and when cyber security advisories have been released. If you are ever unclear about what a particular advisory means it is recommended to reach out to the InSource tech support team for further clarification.

Navigating to the Security Central:

The Aveva Security Central is located at the web address below:

https://softwaresupportsp.schneider-electric.com/#/securitycentral

Once on this site, you can navigate to either the Wonderware or Citect Product Line for each selection.  In the screen capture below, Cyber Security updates for Citect has been selected.

Subscribe to receive notifications:

To sign up to receive notifications, click the hamburger button location at the top left of the window and then click the "Subscriptions" icon.

Go to "Available Subscriptions" and then "Security Central Support Products." Choose what you would like to be notified about and how often you would like to be notified. Click the Save button.

Unsubscribe from notifications:

To unsubscribe from Security Central notifications click "My web content subscriptions" followed by "Subscription: Security Central Supported Products" and click the "Unsubscribe" button.  After doing so, you should see that this area has been removed from the "Available subscriptions" section.
