Details
Redundancy is enabled from the System Management Console (SMC) on each of the Historians. Open the SMC from one of the Historian to expand out the Configuraton Editor - System Configuration - Parameters.
Highlight and right-click on the HistorianPartner parameter to open the properties dialog.
Type in the machine name of the partner Historian and click OK to save and close.
You will be prompted to ensure that the paired Historian is configured as well. Click the Yes button to close the dialog.
Right-click on the configuration editor tree in the SMC to select Commit Pending Changes...
Click on the Commit button from the confirmation dialog.
Repeat the previous steps from the paired Historian. Remember to commit the changes.
The redundancy may be verified by reviewing the MDAS tag list from each Historian. All of the tags pushed from the galaxy should match. The tags are being stored on both Historians now.
