Office 365 groups can be used like a distribution group where you receive emails to the group in your personal inbox as well as in the actual group.
This article shows the settings in Outlook you need to check if you are not receiving emails to the group in your personal inbox.

In Outlook select the group on the left, then in the top ribbon of Outlook select "Group Settings" to expand the menu.
In the menu select "All Email and Events"
