[ISS Support Case] OMI SQL Data Grid Does not work with SQL authentication
Last updated: October 17th, 2025Description
Ref previous case 80195 Imported the Data Grid as an OMI App from C:\Program Files (x86)\Archestra\Framework\Bin\Invensys_Systems_inc_SQLDataGridUserCtrl.dll The data grid works as expected when using Windows Authentication but does not work with SQL authentication. Validated sql login with .UDL test and logging in with the desired sa account in SSMS. Validated the behavior is the same on my system even when using the SA account. In the Grid the error message is "Login failed for user 'sa' Invalid connection string attribute No records returned" In SQL Server Log the error message is "Login failed for user 'sa'. Reason Password did not match that for the login provided [CLIENT: ] Error 18456, Severity. 14, state 8"
