[ISS Support Case] OMI Password Change Using Galaxy Authentication
Last updated: October 17th, 2025Description
Currently, it is not possible for a user to change their password using Galaxy Authentication and InTouch OMI. I think I have brought this up before and was told there was no way to do this. This would have to be a future enhancement. I think a feature request for this was submitted. I am writing to ask if we can get a status update on this and if this can be bumped up on the priority list. We are spending a lot of time and money creating an OMI. When the project was first started, it appeared there was a way for users to change their password but it turns out they can't. We may not be able to use this new application until this feature is added. If there is a way we can get this bumped up on the priority list such it shows up in the next Service Pack or perhaps a patch can be supplied to us, that would be great. The next version of System Platform cannot be released without this feature being provided.

I am having a really hard time understanding why my alarm query is not updating according to the script I wrote up. I have a script that should change how the alarm client is queried based on the current navigation. It updates the query accordingly when I navigate from one layout to another. However, when I navigate from one screen to another (that uses the same layout), the alarm query refuses to update!
