When launching WindowViewer you may receive the error message: Application was developed with a Win16 version of InTouch OLDER than version 5.0.

This error indicates the file vers_res.inf is missing or corrupt. This file contains the software version information that WindowViewer checks before launching. 

The fix is to create a brand new modern application and then copy the vers_res.inf file from the new application and paste it in the application folder of the non-working application. 

You can find the path to the application folder by launching InTouch Application Manager.
