Description
You are running an InTouch application on one or multiple computers. At random, you may begin getting errors such as:
Alarm client registration failed.
Register function failed.
Cannot perform alarm query registration.
You haven't made any changes to the app, but suddenly the Alarm Printer stops functioning and you encounter these messages.
Solution Steps:
The easiest solution is to reboot the machine.
If you check Task Manager, alarmmgr.exe is probably not running which is the cause of the issue. It can also be found at the following location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\ArchestrA\alarmmgr.exe

Today he's setting up the main server with the Historian. He has a backup of the database. He has a standalone app too. He imported the application and launched WindowMaker to convert it and it told him it requires 1920x1080 and says he has 1280x720 and he said no to convert. But when he says no it says the InTouch application is being edited in another session, cannot edit.
