Details:
When developing in Window Maker sometimes when you open the tagname dictionary or double click on an Active X control and the configuration window appears on a secondary monitor. This causes problems when you place an Application on a single monitor screen as you are unable to see this. Below are the steps to resolve this.
- Close down WindowMaker and WindowViewer.
- Open InTouch Application Manager to see where you application is residing.
- Browse to the application directory and in the folder there will be a file called tagbrw.dat
- Rename this file to .old and then launch your WindowMaker.

InTouch 2020 R2 SP1: I am running a four-monitor system that is treated as one large desktop.3840 x 2160. This runs on Thinmanager thin clients, but I don't think this really matters. Is there any way to control where the Recipe Selector window pops up on the screen when opened from a script (RecipeSelectRecipe(....)? The window has no size controls nor ability to move it, and it pops up centered on the "desktop" which puts it overlapping on all four monitors. This is very difficult for my operators to see individual recipes. If there is no ability to control where the window pops up, is there another alternative? The popup window is not a regular InTouch window. This is the Select a Recipe dialog box that pops up in response to executing a RecipeSelectRecipe(); script. This popup/dialog window appears to be a built-in part of the recipe manager. (uncertain if window manipulation is still possible.
