[ISS Support Case] Extended Property Not Working As Expected
Last updated: October 17th, 2025Description
An extended property searched for via Historian Client web returns nothing. Per the Historian Admin (excerpt attached) this custom property is searchable. Entering the extended property value in the search bar returned nothing. Please help me understand how to have search Historian Client Web search and return matches on custom properties. I am confused on the use of the location extended property. Is that reserved for something in particular or can It be used for anything? Would like to list the controller address/tag somewhere so my technicians can see the actual controller tag and not just the alias. Alias is good for the engineers but not so good for the techs.
