[ISS Support Case] Change network account is missing from Historian Node
Last updated: October 17th, 2025Description
I have a couple of questions that I was hoping you could answerI was wondering whether the Change Network Account Utility is still used in System Platform. In the Historian Admin Guide it is mentioned, but I dont see it in the Aveva menu and dont find aaAdminUser.exe anywhere on the hard drive of the local backup Historian after install of SP 2020 R2 SP1. Is this replaced by the Configurator Security? With Wonderware 2014 the change network account needed to exist on all Wonderware workstations and servers and needed to be the same user ID and password. Is this still the case for SP 2020 R2 SP1? I was hoping to make some changes in what users are Historian Admins and Historian Power Users.
