Some configuration is required for the client machine before using InTouch Edge from the web.
The ThinClientSetup application needs to be installed on each client node. This is found in the following folder of the web server:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Wonderware\InTouch Edge HMI v8.1\Redist\WebAddOn\ThinClient
Next turn off the popup blocker from Internet Explorer options.
Configure the security level to the Low setting for Local Intranet in Internet Options.
You may disable protected mode. This is optional.
Add the http://<web server name or IP>/ URL to the trusted sites.
Browse to //<web server name or IP>/web/<start window name>.html for the InTouch Edge website.
