Details

It is sometimes necessary to reset the administrative login for InBatch.

A lost password will require resetting the full Security in InBatch to the defaults.

Start by creating a backup of the configuration files located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Wonderware\InBatch\cfg\Config_A folder.

Copy the three SecurityDB files found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Wonderware\InBatch\cfg\dflt_cfg folder. These are the default Security configuration files.

Paste the three copied SecurityDB files in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Wonderware\InBatch\cfg\Config_A folder.

Note: All security roles, operator stations, user accounts, and applications-functions configured from the Security Manager will be lost. These settings will need to be added back manually following the reset.

Select Replace the files in the destination to confirm the paste. You are over writing the configured Security files.

The Environment Display will now open with no prompt for a password. You may log into SecEdit using system as the login and password.
