Details

Error 1722 is a general error message associated with the Windows installer.  This is sometimes seen when attempting to install Wonderware software on newer operating systems such as 2012R2.  Check to be sure that the Installer Service is running.  Click Start, Click Run, type Services.msc, and press Enter.  Scroll to and double-click the Windows Installer service.

Set the Startup type to Manual for the Windows Installer.

Click on the Start button to start the service.  Click on the OK button.  

Try installing the Wonderware System Platform software again.
