Sometimes with Historian 2014 (11.5) or later a store forward block does not successfully transfer data to the Historian. This article describes using the StorageDoctor utility to force the data to be transferred. The process in this article should be used at you own risk and it is recommended to first try this in a test environment before attempting it in a production system.

1) Copy the Store Forward block that still contains data to a folder on the Historian machine.

In the example below, I have copied the block to C:\temp.

Execute the command below from command prompt:

c:\temp\StorageDoctor\x86>aahstoragedoctor -i c:\temp\bak\ -o c:\temp -t c:\temp\out.txt -s HISTORIANComputerName -u UserName -p PutPasswordHere

Below is a list of the arguments that can be used within the utility.
