Description

How to Automatically Start the Win911 2021 InTouch connector

  • Author: Mike Vteri
  • Published: 3/9/2022
  • Applies to: Win911 2021 and InTouch

Details

The Win911 Connector has to be running once InTouch is started to be able to subscribe to alarms so Win911 can report on them.

Just putting Win911 in the startup folder with Windowviewer can cause timing issues. Running a batch file is also problematic as this can get caught by the User Account Control

It is suggested to have a InTouch startup script call the Win911 InTouch connector

StartApp("C:\Program Files (x86)\WIN-911 Software\WIN-911\InTouch\WIN911.Source.InTouch.Runtime.WPFHost.exe");

Once WindowViewer starts it will call the Win911 InTouch connector to start

integration launch
