TN Citect011 How to copy an existing CitectSCADA Project into a new Project

This Tech Note will walk you through how to copy a developed project into a new project which is named Treatment Plant.

  • Applies to: CitectSCADA 2015 upwards
  1. Create a new Project and name it appropriately. This is named Treatment Plant then click the OK button.
  2. Right click on the project you wish to copy in which in the case is called Milk Treatment.
  3. Confirm in the From Project Box that the correct project has been selected. If not then click on the down arrow and make the appropriate change.
  4. In the To Box select the Project you initially created which in this example is Treatment Plant.
  5. A warning message will appear as seen below and if everything is correct then click the OK button.
  6. Once completed you will see like below pages from the developed Milk Treatment project are now available in your new Project.
