This new feature came about in 2023 R2, and can be used to quickly create a graphic with a bunch of pre-populated symbols without having the extra steps of mapping your custom properties.
- Create a new Industrial Graphic from within InTouch or the Industrial Graphic Toolbox.
- Inside of the Industrial Symbol Editor, on the right next to Properties, select Model – Tagname to expose the tagname dictionary.
- Find a tag, and drag and drop it towards the canvas on the screen.
- You will be prompted to create either of the following:
- Graphic element

- You will note that the Animation has already been populated by the Selected Tag.

OR
- Industrial Graphic from that tag. When you select Industrial Graphic, the Industrial Graphic Library will pop up to select a graphic to map this tag to. Note that the Custom Property of the Industrial Graphic has already been populated by the Selected tag.

- You can use this to build a more detailed screen with your tags with less time having to map the tags afterwards!
