Description

This article from InSource shows how to use resolve an issue where your projects disappear from the application manager

  • Author: Jamie Jackson
  • Published: 09/26/2025
  • Applies to: AVEVA InTouch

Details

  1. Close InTouch Application Manager
  2. Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Wonderware\InTouch (if you're installation is not on the C drive, replace C with that drive)
  3. Back up and delete APPLIST.INI
  4. Launch InTouch Application Manager again
  5. If this doesn't resolve the issue, or it reoccurs, you likely have an intouch.ini file with multiple ScaleForResolution entries.
  6. For standalone InTouch,
    1. Close InTouch Application Manager
    2. Navigate to your project folder
    3. Open the intouch.ini file and remove any duplicate ScaleForResolution entries
    4. Launch Application Manager
  7. For a managed InTouch Application using a galaxy
    1. Close InTouch Application Manager
    2. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\ArchestrA\Framework\FileRepository\<galaxy name>\ObjectFileStorage\<object name>
    3. Inside this folder there are three folders (CheckedIn, CheckedOut, DeployedXXXXX) to check the intouch.ini file
    4. Open each intouch.ini file and remove any duplicate ScaleForResolution entries
    5. Disconnect from the InTouch node
    6. Undeploy/redeploy the view app
    7. Launch Application Manager
