[ISS Support Case] Remove or Omit Web Folder from Published App

Last updated: March 6th, 2025

Description

How can we remove the Web Folder and its files from the published app folder? We do not use the Web App functionality. We manage all our Apps in a Galaxy using IDE. When an App is ready for deployment, we right-click on the app in IDE, and choose "Publish InTouch Application". This creates a Published App folder that we can then copy/paste to a field machine. The file size on these folders has gotten larger after upgrading to 2020 (partly because the "Associate Galaxy Graphics" checkbox keeps getting re-checked), but looking through the folder, the WEB folder makes up a large portion of the total folder size. How can we omit this folder when publishing?
