Last updated: March 7th, 2025Description
After installing cumulative Microsoft update KB5022289 (DCOM hardening update for January 2023) on 3 separate servers (Galaxy, SS-SVR2 - IO server and SS-TS2- terminal server) windows event log is recording ObjectViewer.exe crash events, even though the Object Viewer itself is running. Attaching screenshot and SMC logs. Update was installed arounrd1 pm on 3/14/23 on galaxy and around 3:30 pm on 3/22/23 on the terminal server. Object Viewer crashing - deploying to secondary nodes all working. Doesnt actually crash but an event is logged (Windows thinks ist crashed) DOMAIN
