[ISS Support Case] MBTCP OI Server Reading Incorrect values
Last updated: October 17th, 2025Description
Client is adding a new MBTCP data source, a SEL 3530 RealTime Automation Controller to use with InTouch 2020 R2 SP1. Client is experiencing an issue with the data values in the OI Server and InTouch are slightly different than the actual values coming from the PLC. Client has tested this from another HMI and the data is correct. Another issue the client has noticed is out of 50 analog values, 47 of them are showing as a real with a decimal, 3 of them are showing as a integer, even though all the tags were created with the same data types in InTouch and the source has created them all as 32 bit floating.
