[ISS Support Case] Convert Standalone to Modern Application

Customer has a 2017 U3 SP1 Standalone application that they want to convert to a Modern application. We know that you can create a brand new Modern Application and import windows, tags, scripts, etc... from the Standalone app into it to make it a Modern app, but the customer is wondering if there is another way. When you upgrade an application, it asks if you want to make it a Modern App (in different terms) during the process. Is there a way to manually trigger that when an upgrade isn't being done?
