[ISS Support Case] appedit.loc Application cannot be edited, [node] is editing this application
Last updated: October 17th, 2025Description
Error: "Application cannot be edited, [node] is editing this application". This error message is displayed in a dialog box when trying to open an InTouch application in WindowMaker. Another node is editing the application, the application was copied while it was being edited, or WindowMaker crashed when the application was last edited. When an application is opened in WindowMaker, a file "APPEDIT.LOK" is created to indicate that the application is being edited. This file is deleted automatically when WindowMaker closes normally. If WindowMaker crashes, the file may not be deleted. Delete the file "appedit.lok" from the application directory. InTouch 10.1 Windows 7
