[ISS Support Case] After Migration, Application Is Now a Modern Application
Last updated: October 17th, 2025Description
Customer is moving from one machine with 2014 R2 to another machine with 2014 R2 SP1. The application directory was backed up on the old machine (listed as Standalone app). When brought over to the new machine and opened in WindowMaker, a dialog appeared asking if the application should be migrated. Clicking yes on that and going through the upgrade seems to have caused the application to change from Standalone to Modern.
