[ISS Support Case] After a power outage, 4 workstations no longer recognize .loc license files.
Last updated: October 17th, 2025Description
.loc files, no license server. Verified license services running. Ran a repair of the SP 2020 software. Tried dragging the license out of the folder, reboot, drag it back in. Tried the OEM license. Tried running the OSconfigurationtool.exe then reboot. Tried making sure the license enterprise system (in the configurator) was configured for the computer to act as server and client. Tried running windowmaker with the oem license. In the system management console there is no entry related to obtaining a license. It just says window viewer shutting down. Deleted BackEndModule1 files to clear client-side trusted storage.
