Description
This tech note gives a brief overview of what may have happened on a Historian that now only shows seven days worth of data in Trends or Queries. Perhaps, the Historian showed all data properly, but now after a reboot over the weekend you can only see seven days worth for some reason.
Solution Steps:
The most common cause is a licensing issue. In your SMC or OCMC, check for the line of your Historian Status page that shows Licensed Tag Count. If it displays -1, this confirms the Historian is grabbing the wrong license. Usually, it may be grabbing a Historian license part from an AdvDev Studio license instead of a Historian Server license.
To force it to grab the Historian Server license, you can try deactivating any AdvDev Studio licenses and add them back afterward.
If the Historian is using a remote license server, make sure to reserve the correct license to the machine.
