After completing this how-to guide, you will know how to reset the Historian Client Trend configuration settings for a local Windows user profile.

Use each step section to describe the instructions needed to achieve the goal.

Steps

The methods below show you how reset the Trend settings for a local profile. This can be useful if trends in Historian Client become corrupted and need to be reset.

  1. The paths below show you the two files that need to be replaced:

C:\Users\<UserProfile>\AppData\Local\Wonderware\ActiveFactory\Trend\Default

C:\Users\<UserProfile>\AppData\Local\Wonderware\ActiveFactory\TagPicker\TagPickerColumnSettings

  1. Before replacing the files, make sure to back them up to a safe location.
  2. You can replace them with files from a working local profile, or you can delete them and they will be recreated when Historian Client Trend is opened again.
