This Tech Note will walk you through setting up an intial connection with the Historian from Historian Client Query.

  1. Click on one of the Historian Client Applications and instantly the Server List Configuration Window appears.
  2. Type in the name of your Historian Server and click on the SQL Login radio button seen below.
  3. If you have connected to the Historian Server it will show a connection in the Servers list under Tag Picker. Click the Close button.
  4. When you click on the Server in the Tag Picker area the available tags will appear.
