Details

There are 2 types of licenses for the new Wonderware Operation Integration (OI) Servers, Standard and Professional.

Standard License:

Only one instance or version can run which is similar to the previous versions of the DA Servers.

Professional License:

Allows multi-instances of the OI Servers and multi-versions of the DA Servers. You can have older versions of the same DA Server installed and enabled in conjunction with the OI Server.

Troubleshooting License Error:

If you attempt to enable multiple OI Server instances and you have the Standard License installed you will receive the error message below.

Check the license file to verify the Professional License is installed by locating the ArchestrA.lic license file. 

Look for the OI_Server feature line. 

Vendor_String=count 1 -> Standard License

Vendor_String=count 2 -> Professional License
