Description
After performing a reboot on the GR machine, the customer cannot connect to their IDE because the AVEVA Galaxy Repository Service cannot start successfully.
Problem Description:
After rebooting, they attempt to open IDE like normal, but:

There were two SMC warnings that would come in every time they saw this popup:

The software would open, but nothing would ever populate:

They saw their machine name in the drop down, but after attempting to select it and the software hanging for a few minutes, they would get the same “Unable to connect” message and SMC warnings.
If you search for these warnings, you’ll find several remote connection related issues. In this case, everything was local. Change Network Account Utility fixed most of the past cases but didn’t fix it here.
The bootstrap service was running, but GR service would not start:

We ran a PCS scan, everything looked good. No errors:

Solution Steps:
For some reason, their temp folder from “C:\Program Files (x86)\ArchestrA\Framework\Bin\Temp” had over 160k files:

After deleting these files, and rebooting the machine; the customer was able to start the AVEVA Galaxy Repository service and open IDE.
