Step 1)
Within the OPC Client object, click the Scan Group tab and click the "+" button if a scan group does not currently exist:

Step 2)
Type the name of the OPC Device group and select an update interval. After that click the Scan Mode and choose "ActiveAll":


Step 3)
Click the "+" button in the associated attributes section to add a new attribute and give the associated attribute a name. In this example it is called "A1":


Step 4)
Click the Attributes tab and create a new attribute to link to the associated attribute from the OPC device group:

Step 5)
Give the attribute a name and select the I/O button:

Step 6)
Click the Save button and then click the browse button in the I/O section:

Step 7)
Select the relative reference icon on the top and then select the newly added associated attribute and click the "OK" button:

Step 8)
Click the "Save and Close" icon and then check the object in and deploy:
