Description

This article from InSource Solutions shows you how to use Object Viewer in Application Server (ArchestrA IDE) to verify if a value was written to an I/O attribute.

  • Author: Brian Schneider
  • Published: 05/25/2017
  • Applies to: Application Server

Details

There are fields available in Object Viewer that allow you to verify if an attempted write value successfully updated an I/O attribute value in Application Server. This article explains what those fields are and how to use them.

The image below shows a list of items used to see if a value was written to an attribute. The table beneath the image provides more detail.

The sample I/O attribute used is W_Setpoint.

If .WriteStatus indicates a successful write and .WriteValue and .WSetpoint are equal then you know that the value was successfully written.
