Description

You may occasionally need to completely remove all components of a platform on a node/PC when using Wonderware System Platform - Application Server. Previously this was accomplished using the Platform Killer utility. This functionality is now built into the SMC.

Details

In System Platform 2014R2 you can remove a platform without the platform remover utility.

Open your SMC and go down to Platform Manager. Right click on Platform Manager and you will have to option to "Remove Local Platform". This feature will only remove the local platform your are running the SMC from.
